• Ai uses “a series of auto-completion-like programs to learn languages.”
  • There are more parts of the AI field that are working, and there will be a lot of questions.

With Microsoft’s Copilot, Google’s Bard, and OpenAI’s ChatGPT-4, big companies are making AI chatbot technology previously limited to test LABS more accessible to the public.

These large language model (LLM) how the program works? OpenAI’s GPT-3 tells us that AI learns languages using “a series of autocompletion-like programs” that analyze “the statistical properties of the language” to “make educated guesses based on the words you’ve previously typed.”

Or, in the words of anthropologist James Vincent: “These AI tools are massive auto-completion systems, trained to predict the next word in any given sentence.” As a result, they have no hard-coded database of “facts” to draw upon – only the ability to write statements that sound plausible. This means that they tend to present false information as truth, because whether a given sentence sounds credible or not is no guarantee that it is true.”

AI is being perfected

But there are more pieces in play in the AI space and there will be a lot of questions, but you can definitely see it all unfolding on BTW Media.
