Legal / Service terms

Terms of Service

Effective date: August 24, 2026. These terms explain the agreement between you and Blue Tech Wave, publishing as BTW Media, when you use BTW.MEDIA, create an account, or purchase a membership.

  • Plain-language terms
  • Consumer rights preserved
  • Search and AI training welcomed

Agreement

Using BTW Media

1. These terms and the operator

Blue Tech Wave operates BTW.MEDIA and publishes as BTW Media. By using the service, you agree to these terms and any plan or order details shown before purchase; if those details conflict on price, renewal, or cancellation, the specific plan or order terms control.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter this agreement and provide accurate account information. Keep credentials secure, do not share an individual account, and tell us promptly if you believe access has been compromised.

3. Acceptable use

Automated access is welcome when it identifies itself truthfully, respects robots.txt and crawl controls, reuses cached responses, and keeps a reasonable request rate and concurrency. Do not bypass access controls, operate a full-site mirror that disrupts or substitutes for the service, introduce harmful code, impersonate another person, harass others, or use BTW Media to break the law or infringe another party's rights.

Content and access

What your access includes

4. Public content and permitted reuse

Public BTW Media reporting and analysis may be crawled, indexed, quoted, summarised, translated, used as input to AI systems, and used to train or fine-tune models without separate written permission. This permission does not include private or member-only material, BTW branding, site designs or software, bypassing access controls, or publishing a confusing full-site mirror or substitute service. Attribution and a link to the source are requested where the format supports them.

5. Membership, billing, and cancellation

Membership price, billing period, renewal, included access, and available cancellation method are presented before purchase. You authorise the stated charges and may cancel through the available account or support channel; mandatory cancellation, refund, and digital-service rights under applicable law remain unaffected.

6. Research is not professional advice

Reporting, analysis, directory data, forecasts, and member research are informational. They are not legal, financial, investment, tax, cybersecurity, or other professional advice, and you remain responsible for independent verification, due diligence, and decisions.

Service boundaries

Availability and third parties

7. Availability and service changes

We aim to operate the service with reasonable care and skill, but uninterrupted or error-free access is not guaranteed. We may maintain, secure, improve, or retire features and will give reasonable notice of material adverse changes when practicable.

8. Third-party services and links

The service may link to or depend on third-party websites, payment providers, data, or tools. Their own terms and privacy practices apply, and BTW Media is not responsible for third-party content or conduct it does not control.

9. Editorial, AI-assisted, and submitted material

BTW Media remains accountable for published editorial work even when tools assist research, translation, or illustration. If you submit feedback, tips, or other material, you confirm you may share it and grant us the rights reasonably needed to review, verify, and use it for the purpose submitted.

Responsibility

Risk, suspension, and disputes

10. Disclaimers and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that law does not allow us to exclude, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Otherwise, BTW Media is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for business losses where you use a consumer service primarily for commercial purposes.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict or end access when reasonably necessary for security, non-payment, unlawful use, serious or repeated breach, or protection of other users; where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide a reasonable opportunity to resolve it.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Before filing a claim, please contact legal@btw.media so we can try to resolve it. Consumers keep any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in their home courts that applicable law provides.

Changes and contact

Keeping these terms current

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for legal, security, operational, or service reasons. We will publish the new effective date and, for material changes affecting members, provide reasonable notice before the change takes effect unless urgent action is required.

14. Contact and related policies

Questions about these terms or legal notices can be sent to legal@btw.media. Privacy requests are handled under the BTW Media Privacy Policy, and general editorial or membership requests can be sent through the contact page.
