UIXP’s role in Uganda’s internet ecosystem

The Uganda Internet Exchange Point (UIXP) was set up to address Uganda’s growing need for efficient internet connectivity. By keeping local traffic within the country, it reduces reliance on international internet providers, improving internet speeds and lowering costs.
