What happened
Singapore Telecommunications (Singtel), Asia’s leading communications technology group, 19 August 2024, and Bridge Alliance, a leading mobile alliance of 35 member operators from around the world, today announced a strategic partnership to bring Singtel’s GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) offering to enterprises in the region.
The partnership follows Singtel’s announcement in February that it will launch its GPUaaS later this year, which will provide organisations with access to Nvidia’s AI computing power so they can quickly and cost-effectively deploy AI at scale to accelerate growth and innovation.
Continuing to support the digital transformation of Southeast Asia’s digital economy, Bill Chang, CEO of Singtel’s Digital InfraCo division, said Paragon has carefully orchestrated a multi-edge computing and Nvidia GPU environment to enable customers to deploy 5G use cases quickly and at scale.
As part of the agreement, Bridge Alliance member operators (BMOs) will gain access to Singtel’s GPUaaS offerings. Bridge Alliance will assist BMO in fast-tracking its go-to-market strategy and effectively drive the success of the GPUaaS offering with the enterprise.
