    • Telin has emerged as the first-place winner at the AKHLAK 2024 Telkom Group Culture Festival.
    • A cornerstone of Telin’s cultural strategy is its extensive Onboarding Program and Culture Policy, ensuring that AKHLAK values are deeply embedded in the workforce.
    • By winning the Best AKHLAK Implementation award, Telin not only solidifies its reputation as a leader in ethical business practices but also sets a benchmark for other companies within the Telkom Group and beyond.

    OUR TAKE
It’s impressive how Telin integrated ethical values into everything they do, from how they run their company to how they engage with the community. Reminds me of how Google’s focus on employee well-being has become a benchmark for the tech industry. Telin’s not just talking the talk, they’re walking the walk with their ACE framework and Agile Working System. Plus, their community initiatives like mangrove planting and digital literacy programs show they’re serious about making a difference beyond their bottom line. It’s great to see companies like Telin leading the way in ethical business practices.

Telkom Indonesia International (Telin), a prominent global subsidiary of PT Telkom Indonesia, has emerged as the first-place winner at the AKHLAK 2024 Telkom Group Culture Festival. This prestigious award recognises Telin’s exceptional implementation of the AKHLAK values.

    Top honors

The AKHLAK values are a set of ethical and moral principles that guide business practices within Indonesia’s State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs). The award ceremony took place at the Sheraton Hotel Gandaria City in South Jakarta, where Telin was honored for its Best AKHLAK Implementation in the Subsidiary Category, standing out among several major subsidiaries within the Telkom Group.

    Commitment to AKHLAK values

Telin’s recognition underscores its unwavering commitment to integrating AKHLAK values into every facet of its operations, from corporate governance to employee engagement and community outreach. The company has cultivated a robust corporate culture through its innovative ACE (Activate, Craft, and Exhibit) framework, which has been pivotal in shaping its organisational ethos.

We are honored to receive the Best AKHLAK Implementation, Subsidiary Category, during the Culture Festival AKHLAK 2024 TelkomGroup.

    Embedding values through strategic initiatives

A cornerstone of Telin’s cultural strategy is its extensive Onboarding Program and Culture Policy, ensuring that AKHLAK values are deeply embedded in the workforce. The establishment of a Role Map for Culture Implementation has further strengthened this commitment, with high-level executives and Culture Champions leading by example. These efforts are continuously reinforced by Telin’s human capital function through regular Calendar of Culture Action (COCA) events, promoting AKHLAK across its global offices.

Agile working system for enhanced collaboration

Telin’s success in fostering a cohesive and value-driven culture is also reflected in its adoption of the Agile Working System. Initially aimed at driving digital innovation, this system has evolved to address cross-functional challenges and improve collaboration. With 34 Squads consisting of 183 top digital talents, Telin’s Agile Bootcamp has successfully cultivated an agile mindset across the organisation, resulting in a remarkable 80% success rate in project completions.

    Contributions to community and environment

In addition to its internal cultural initiatives, Telin is making significant contributions to the community and environment. The Telinfor Community initiative, focusing on environmental sustainability, digital economy education, and inclusivity, highlights the company’s dedication to making a positive societal impact. Programs like mangrove planting, digital literacy education through SAHABAT PINTAR, and the TELIN EMPOWHER initiative—aimed at empowering women and promoting diversity—exemplify Telin’s commitment to corporate social responsibility.

Setting a benchmark in ethical business practices

By winning the Best AKHLAK Implementation award, Telin not only solidifies its reputation as a leader in ethical business practices but also sets a benchmark for other companies within the Telkom Group and beyond. This accolade serves as a testament to the company’s ongoing efforts to create a more meaningful impact on the industry and society at large, reinforcing its role as a global leader with a strong ethical foundation.
