- Infobip joins Aduna’s global network API expansion initiative.
- Partnership aims to accelerate adoption through a large developer community.
What happened: Strategic partnership expands network API ecosystem
Aduna, a collaboration between Ericsson and global telecom operators, has partnered with Infobip. This partnership will expand network APIs’ global reach and simplify developer access to telecom capabilities. Infobip, a leading CPaaS provider, offers services like Number Verify, SIM Swap, and upcoming APIs such as Device Location. By combining Infobip’s features with Aduna’s infrastructure, the partnership makes integration easier.
Infobip’s integration into Aduna’s platform will increase network API adoption. This is made possible through Infobip’s extensive developer community and enterprise connections. The partnership follows Aduna’s September 2024 launch, which included Vonage and Google Cloud as initial partners.

Why it’s important
This partnership is vital for simplifying access to network APIs and accelerating the telecom industry’s digital transformation. Infobip’s vast reach, connecting over 7 billion devices and 9,700+ operator connections, offers immediate scale for Aduna’s platform. The collaboration also reduces integration complexity for developers, potentially lowering time-to-market for new services. Standardised APIs through the CAMARA open-source project could generate a network effect, encouraging more developers and telecom operators to join the ecosystem. With this partnership, Ericsson positions itself as a central player in the expanding API economy, helping telecom operators monetise network capabilities and opening new revenue streams.
