According to the Cardano Foundation, these areas are crucial for addressing enterprise needs. The research found that 54.6% of projects focus on authenticity, aiming to establish identity and legitimacy through secure verification. Another 30% focus on traceability, creating immutable records for verifying digital and physical assets. Finally, 15.4% of projects focus on sustainability, supporting social and ecological initiatives.

The Cardano Foundation’s research emphasised how these initiatives are not only innovative but also practical, offering solutions to both consumers and enterprises. These projects demonstrate Cardano’s commitment to utilising blockchain for transformative applications across a variety of industries globally, highlighting its scalability and adaptability in addressing complex challenges.


The research also highlighted that around 70% of projects within the Cardano ecosystem are designed for international markets. This global perspective signifies a “fundamental shift” in blockchain’s role, expanding its use from cryptocurrency to broader enterprise applications.
