Context
The Asia Pacific Advanced Network (APAN) community is preparing to gather once again — this time in Hong Kong, for its landmark 60th meeting. From 28 July to 1 August 2025, the city will host a dynamic week of knowledge exchange, innovation, and regional collaboration at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, marking the second time Hong Kong has hosted the event since APAN42 in 2016. Organised by the Joint Universities Computer Centre (JUCC), APAN60 will bring together over 300 researchers, engineers, and educators from more than 30 economies. The agenda includes hands-on workshops, academic presentations, tutorials, and panel discussions covering cutting-edge topics in network architecture, cybersecurity, AI applications, and digital infrastructure for research and education.
