Vietnamese telecoms operator VNPT has selected Radcom to replace its existing supplier for monitoring the performance of its roaming services. Radcom won the contract through a competitive tender. Its ACE platform will be deployed across several cloud environments and is designed to give VNPT a real-time view of how roaming services are performing for subscribers. It will also use automated anomaly detection to flag unusual behaviour that may point to a service problem.

Radcom says VNPT serves more than 30 million subscribers. The contract is focused on roaming and does not cover every monitoring system across VNPT's network. The deal was one of three contracts Radcom disclosed after its second-quarter results in August.
