Reporting

How BTW Media works

Sources and verification

BTW Media distinguishes confirmed facts, attributed claims, analysis, and unresolved questions. Editors prefer primary records and identify material uncertainty when the available evidence is incomplete.

Bylines and accountability

A named byline identifies the author responsible for the published work. BTW Media remains accountable for publication decisions, corrections, and the standards applied to every article.

Conflicts and independence

Authors and editors must avoid undisclosed conflicts that could compromise a report. Commercial access, membership, partnerships, or source relationships do not grant control over editorial conclusions.

Corrections process

How to request a review

Corrections process

Readers can send a factual correction, source clarification, or publication concern to [email protected]. The editorial team reviews the supporting evidence and corrects material errors promptly.

Material updates

A correction must not silently change the meaning of a report. When an amendment materially affects the published account, BTW Media identifies the update with the article when relevant.

Technology and support

AI assistance, images, and sponsorship

AI-assisted workflows

AI tools may assist research organisation, translation, and illustrative image production. They do not replace the accountable byline or BTW Media's responsibility for the published work and its correction.

Images and visual context

Editorial images must be relevant to the reported subject. Illustrative or AI-assisted visuals must not be presented as documentary evidence of an event that they did not record.

Sponsorship and material support

When a sponsor or another party provides material support connected to a publication, BTW Media discloses that relationship with the content. Support does not confer editorial approval or control.
