RIPE Moved the /22. The Two /24s Kept Their Own Names

Why it matters

RIPE NCC recorded a whole-block transfer to Tru Enology Investments Ltd on 3 November. Inside that block, two live /24s still carry separate registrants and separate BGP origins.

RIPE NCC’s transfer file dates the permanent policy transfer of 194.34.168.0/22 from Wine And Food Partners Ltd. to Tru Enology Investments Ltd to 3 November 2026. The parent RDAP now names Tru Enology and records registration at 16:05:37 UTC. That is the large folder changing hands.

Open the smaller folders and the paperwork gets less tidy. RDAP for 194.34.168.0/24 still names Wine And Food Partners Ltd.; RDAP for 194.34.170.0/24 names LLC "La Farina". These are two distinct child registrations inside the transferred /22, not two spellings of its new parent record.

The routes have their own voices. RIPE RIS at 00:00 UTC on 4 November saw no exact /22 route among 323 full-table IPv4 peers. Each named /24 appeared at all 323: the first with origin AS202443, the second with AS215065. The parent transfer and the child routes coexist in the same post-transfer snapshot.
