Summary

  • RIPE NCC says Sasha Romijn continues as Open Source Working Group co-chair until RIPE 99.
  • The active RIPE NCC roster still lists her term ending at RIPE 93 and its next selection at RIPE 91.

The result moved forward. The public table did not. In its 2 November forum newsletter, RIPE NCC said Sasha Romijn will continue as Open Source Working Group co-chair until RIPE 99. Her previous term ended at RIPE 93; a call for candidates ran from 24 August to 14 September. She was the sole candidate and received expressions of support.

The active working-group page still gives her term end as RIPE 93. A separate line says “Next selection: RIPE 91,” a meeting number already behind the one at which her term ended. The same page names Marco d’Itri and Marcos Sanz as fellow co-chairs. This is a lag between RIPE NCC’s result notice and its public roster, visible a day after the newsletter.

A member looking for who holds a chair and when the term expires gets two answers from the same institution. The newsletter supplies the new result; the roster supplies an old schedule. The page does not say when it was last edited or who maintains it. An updated roster showing RIPE 99 would close the record gap.
