Summary

  • On 13 October, LACNIC's original_set covered 186.196.112.0/21, but its transfer_set sent only 186.196.113.0/24 from TIM S.A. to GO-NET TELECOM LTDA.
  • Two more /24s went to MEGAMAX FIBRA LTDA and RAFAEL DOS SANTOS PRATES LTDA on 15 and 16 October. Together, the three rows move 768 addresses, three eighths of the /21.

The trap is in the first line of LACNIC's original transfer export. Its original_set runs from 186.196.112.0 to 186.196.119.255: a /21 containing 2,048 addresses. The transfer_set runs only from 186.196.113.0 to .113.255. That is 256 addresses, handed to GO-NET TELECOM LTDA on 13 October. The broad column describes the source block; the narrow one describes the transaction.

LACNIC records the next cuts separately. 186.196.115.0/24 went to MEGAMAX FIBRA LTDA on 15 October; 186.196.112.0/24 went to RAFAEL DOS SANTOS PRATES LTDA on 16 October. The three recipients hold three different slices. The addresses are not even one neat contiguous sale: the .114 /24 sits between GO-NET's .113 and MEGAMAX's .115.

Today's LACNIC RDAP records identify the registrants for .112, .113 and .115. The intervening .114 and upper .116–.119 /22 still name TIM S/A. The export writes the source as TIM S.A.; the two current RDAP objects use the other spelling. The public records do not supply a price or a common deal identifier.
