Summary

  • On 28 October, RIPE NCC recorded 129.101.92.0/22 moving from Invest Mobile LLC to a REG.RU company; on 29 October, 129.101.88.0/22 moved from the same source to Cloud.ru.
  • Those adjacent /22s exhaust the original 129.101.88.0/21: 1,024 IPv4 addresses each, 2,048 in total, with no remainder in the original range.

The RIPE NCC transfer ledger gives the first day's original block as 129.101.88.0/21. Its transferred block is only the upper half, 129.101.92.0/22, sent by Invest Mobile LLC to "Domain names registrar REG.RU", Ltd on 28 October. The lower half is still visible as a separate 129.101.88.0/22 in the next day's record. On 29 October Invest Mobile transfers that remainder to "Cloud Technologies" LLC trading as Cloud.ru. Both entries are marked POLICY and PERMANENT. One original /21 became two independently assigned halves in consecutive calendar days.

The arithmetic leaves no hiding place. 129.101.88.0/22 runs through 129.101.91.255; 129.101.92.0/22 begins at the next address and ends at 129.101.95.255. Each contains 1,024 IPv4 addresses. Together they reconstruct precisely 129.101.88.0/21, not a larger portfolio and not two overlapping claims.

RIPE's current RDAP for the Cloud.ru half shows RU-CLOUDRU-19880613 with a 29 October registration event. The REG.RU half shows RU-REGRU-19880613 and 28 October. The old-looking date embedded in those object names is not an allocation history; the recorded 2026 events and exact ranges are the usable evidence. The registry publishes who now holds each half, not the price or reason for the split.
