What happened: Vodafone launches same-day handset repair service across UK stores

Vodafone has launched the ‘Fix & Go’ service. It offers same-day repairs for Samsung, Apple, and Google handsets. The service is available for devices on any network, including out-of-warranty ones. Customers can fix their phones in just two hours. Prices start at $61 for a battery replacement and $150 for a screen replacement. Initially, five stores will offer the service: White City, London Stratford, Oxford Street Experience, Cardiff, and Edinburgh Princes Street. Vodafone plans to add 13 more locations later this year.

The repairs will be done by Vodafone repair specialists. They will use software from Fonehouse to handle bookings, stock, and repairs. Fonehouse will also provide the necessary training and equipment. This service aims to meet the demand for affordable, quick repairs.
