What happened: Boise data centre announced
ValorC3 Data Centers, previously known as Tonaquint, has announced plans to build a new 10-megawatt (MW) data centre in Boise, Idaho. The facility will be the company’s second in the city and its fourth across the United States. Once operational, it will raise ValorC3’s total Boise capacity to 12MW, strengthening its presence in one of the country’s fastest-growing technology hubs.
Scheduled for completion in 2027, the new site will feature a carrier-neutral design and concurrently maintainable infrastructure. It will incorporate advanced cooling technologies, including air and liquid systems with a closed-loop setup that minimises water waste. The project reflects ValorC3’s continued focus on providing modern, scalable colocation, cloud, and connectivity services tailored for high-demand industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, and finance.
