Q: In optimising the Neshat24 clinic website, what do you do to improve patient engagement through technology?
I designed a user-friendly online appointment system that allows patients to easily make appointments through the website. I also created a secure patient portal where patients can access their medical records, test results, and treatment plans. Neshat24 online awareness and patient engagement were significantly increased by establishing a responsive IVR system to improve patient communication and satisfaction.
Q: During your time at Bank Mellat, what did you do to enhance the bank’s efficiency?
I pioneered the use of ASP to create an advanced human resource management system, drove the company’s major digital transformation, modernised IT infrastructure, and implemented disaster recovery plans. Redefine the way banks manage IT services and set a new benchmark for efficiency with ISO 20000 certification. I provide solutions that oversee vendor negotiations and relationships to achieve a 15% reduction in IT services and software licensing costs.
Q: What is your experience in building high-performing IT teams and what do you think are the most important qualities in a team?
I build and lead a high-performing IT team by adopting agile methods to foster a culture of continuous learning and productivity. The core values of the agile team collaboration approach include four aspects: Individuals and interactions over processes and tools, working software trumps detailed documentation, customer cooperation over contract negotiation, and responding to change is higher than following the plan. Team members need to manage themselves. I believe team members should have a solid foundation in their respective technical areas, whether it’s software development, network management, or data analytics.
Trust and reliability are key for any team, especially when dealing with sensitive data or critical systems. We also need to improve resilience, and the ability to bounce back from setbacks and learn from failures is essential for long-term success.

Q: What are the key factors you consider when designing efficient and secure database systems and AI solutions?
I previously led the remote setup of the PapaShoppe retail website. Manage cross-functional teams and improve conversion rates with A/B testing. Ensure that the website complies with international data security and privacy standards and expands the audience. Work closely with legal and compliance teams to maintain high compliance standards. Lead remote collaboration efforts and train development teams on database best practices. Perform advanced performance metrics analysis, which plays a key role in strategic decisions and performance enhancements.
Q: When designing and optimising a database, how can you ensure data security and reliability at the same time?
We can enhance database security by implementing encryption at rest and in transit. Perform a comprehensive security assessment and address vulnerabilities to ensure strong security. By performing both scalability and load testing, we can confirm the site’s readiness for increased traffic, optimise database scalability, and reduce infrastructure costs by 20%.

Q: What challenges have you encountered in designing high-performance databases or AI models? How did you solve it?
For example, how can I ensure that the database handles the growth of data volume and user load without degrading performance? My solution is to use a scalable architecture such as a distributed database and implement sharding or partitioning to distribute the load.
I have created AI models that perform well on training data, but poorly on unseen data. And complex models can be difficult to understand, and integrating AI models into existing systems can be challenging. I would use regularisation techniques to ensure proper train-test separation through cross-validation. Simultaneously utilise optimisation algorithms, use hardware acceleration, and consider model pruning or quantisation.
Q: What do you think about the future of AI?
The first thing I see is integration with everyday life, where AI will become more integrated into daily life through smart devices, personalised services and intelligent systems that assist with various tasks. At the same time I think AI is expected to augment rather than replace human capabilities. The focus in the future will be on how AI can work alongside humans to increase productivity and creativity. AI will play an important role in data-driven decision-making across sectors from business to government. The future of AI is exciting, but it also presents challenges. By staying informed, embracing change, and collaborating, we can help shape a future where AI is a positive force for humanity.
