Summary
- ARIN's 2 November snapshot records 22 transfers from Comtech Telecommunications Corp. that cover all 65,536 addresses of
134.49.0.0/16, with no overlap or gap in the transferred ranges. - The 29 October
134.49.224.0/22transfer to Baseten Labs, Inc. closes the dated sequence. Eighteen recipients sit in ARIN, three in RIPE NCC and one in APNIC.
The last card in ARIN's transfer file went to Baseten Labs, Inc. on 29 October: 134.49.224.0–134.49.227.255, 1,024 IPv4 addresses. By itself, a /22 is ordinary. In this file it completes an exact partition of a /16 whose rows all carry a 26 April 1989 source-registration date.
Start with WiLogic's 134.49.252.0/22 on 17 April and follow the 21 later entries. Four /19s, three /20s, five /21s and ten /22s cover 134.49.0.0–134.49.255.255 once and only once. That adds to 65,536 addresses and 22 distinct named recipients. The order on the address map is different from the date order; the registry's original_set also changes between rows. Counting the transferred intervals, rather than one row's original range, is what reveals the complete jigsaw.
ARIN remains the recipient registry for 18 rows and 52,224 addresses. Three rows and 12,288 addresses went to RIPE NCC; one /22 went to APNIC. ARIN's format description explains why its public file records the movement as individual resource entries. The file supplies no common transaction identifier or price for the 22 rows.
