- E2E Networks signed a binding term sheet worth about ₹1,000 crore with an unnamed Indian company for Nvidia Blackwell cloud GPUs and related services
- E2E says the deal moves Blackwell capacity deployed in May from pay-as-you-go use to a longer-term commitment running through June 2029
The fact
E2E Networks said on 31 August that it had signed a binding term sheet worth about ₹1,000 crore with an unnamed Indian company that it describes as a sovereign-AI company. The agreement covers Nvidia Blackwell cloud GPUs and related services and runs through June 2029. The stated value excludes taxes.
E2E said the Blackwell capacity covered by the agreement was deployed in May and had previously been offered on a pay-as-you-go basis. The new deal gives the company a longer-term customer for that capacity. E2E has not disclosed how many GPUs are covered, how much computing capacity the customer will use or how payments will be spread over the agreement.
The assessment
The deal changes how E2E is selling Blackwell capacity it already has. Instead of relying only on customers paying as they use the GPUs, E2E now has a longer-term agreement for part of that infrastructure through June 2029.
That gives E2E a customer for capacity that had previously been available on a shorter-term basis. It also means the company has to keep providing the agreed GPU service over the life of the contract. The filing does not disclose minimum usage, pricing changes, payment dates or termination terms, so it is not yet clear how much flexibility E2E retains over the capacity covered by the deal.
For BTW readers, this is a customer-contract story rather than a new data-centre build. The Blackwell infrastructure was already deployed before the agreement was signed. Any new GPU purchases or data-centre expansion should be treated separately unless E2E says they are needed to support this customer.
What to watch
E2E's coming financial results may show when revenue from the agreement begins to appear. Further disclosure on the number of GPUs covered, payment terms or additional Blackwell purchases would make the scale of the commitment clearer and show whether the deal changes E2E's existing infrastructure plans.
