JLL has guided Damac Digital through the purchase of land in Cikarang, West Java, for a next-generation AI data centre. The data centre industry in Southeast Asia is expanding rapidly as demand for AI processing, cloud storage and low-latency connectivity grows. Damac Digital growth and focus Damac Digital has made an acquisition of a 50,000 m² plot valued at roughly USD 2.3 billion to expand its data centre presence in Indonesia. The upcoming data centre will deliver 144 MW capacity, with completion of the initial phase targeted for 2026. The land purchase was facilitated by JLL Indonesia. The company’s innovation branch, JLL Technologies, continues to develop tools that help clients manage property assets through analytics and automation. Its venture unit, JLL Spark, invests in technology start-ups advancing energy efficiency, predictive maintenance and sustainable building management.
