Summary

  • Two Brazilian corporate registries sit behind one brand name: CNPJ 45.908.107/0001-70 is AI.BRAZIL TECHNOLOGIES & DATACENTER LTDA (trade name AI.BR), active since 5 April 2022 in Balneário Camboriú/SC, while the CNPJ registered as owner of AS267241 — 15.644.251/0001-86 — belongs to GMAES TELECOM LTDA EM RECUPERACAO JUDICIAL in Itajaí/SC, in judicial recovery since 24 June 2025 [1][7].
  • AS267241 remains a stub network: a single IPv4 prefix, 45.232.28.0/22 (1,024 addresses), one upstream, zero downstreams, no IPv6 announcement and no signed ROA in the routing data captured for this article [2][3][4][6].
  • The 2026 procurement record keeps expanding: a Pomerode/SC cloud collaboration contract worth R$450,900 published 13 March 2026, a São Leopoldo corporate e-mail SaaS contract of R$974,400 signed 9 July 2026 per one registry aggregator, a Dois Vizinhos/PR e-mail contract of R$24,490 for 350 licences published 8 May 2026, cloud storage for Ilhabela Prev at R$1,314 published 31 July 2026, and a first amendment to Pouso Redondo/SC Contract 85/2025 published 25 August 2026 [13][14][15][16][17][18].
  • The procurement notices do not disambiguate which of the two CNPJs signed each contract; the brand CNPJ and the routing CNPJ are different legal entities, and no examined public source documents a datacenter facility, GPU inventory, IX presence or AI compute deployment.

The name on the invoice is not the name on the network record. That is the structural fact this article keeps returning to, because it determines what a reader can and cannot verify about the company marketing itself as an AI datacenter operator.

Two registries, one brand

AI.BRAZIL TECHNOLOGIES & DATACENTER LTDA is registered under CNPJ 45.908.107/0001-70, classified as a microempresa with stated capital of R$273,463.00, active since 5 April 2022, with Gessica Maes Ferreira Silva as sole administrator since 16 October 2023 [9][10][11]. The routing record, however, does not belong to that CNPJ.

The whois mirrors that document AS267241 render its owner field over ownerid CNPJ 15.644.251/0001-86 — the same fiscal identifier registered to GMAES TELECOM LTDA EM RECUPERACAO JUDICIAL, Itajaí/SC, whose special judicial-recovery situation is dated 24 June 2025 and whose registered administrator is Cesar Roberto Silva Petrella [1][7][8].

The label instability is itself part of the record. One whois mirror renders the aut-num owner as "AI BRAZIL TECHNOLOGIES & DATACENTER LTDA" with responsible Gessica M. Ferreira Silva [1]; a netblock mirror renders the same ownerid as "GMAES TELECOM LTDA ME" with responsible Cesar Roberto Silva [2]; a routing report names AS267241 as "AI BRAZIL TECHNOLOGIES & DATACENTER LTDA, BR" [3]. These are copies of the same registry objects, and they do not agree.

The aut-num was created 1 March 2018 and last changed 25 September 2020 — years before the 2022 incorporation of the company that now carries the AI.BRAZIL brand [1].

What the routing data actually shows

AS267241 originates exactly one IPv4 prefix, 45.232.28.0/22, covering 1,024 addresses [2][5]. CAIDA's AS Rank maps it to a single member ASN, one prefix, 1,024 addresses and zero transit degree, with an AS rank near 39,871 [4]. CIDR Report shows an adjacency of one upstream — AS264324, labelled "BIT7NET TECNOLOGIA E SERVICOS LTDA" in that report and as GMAES TELECOM variants elsewhere — and zero downstreams [3]. No IPv6 prefix appears in the captured routing data even though the registry object lists inetnum 2804:4a74::/32 alongside the IPv4 block [1][5].

No ROA is signed: IRR route objects covering the prefix were created by third parties, with RPKI validation state "not_found" [3][6].

This is the profile of a small hosting reseller, not an AI datacenter operator. A real compute facility of the kind the brand implies would typically be visible in at least one of: additional prefixes or IPv6 announcements, peering at an internet exchange, additional transit providers, or published facility documentation. None of those signals appears in the public routing record examined on 30 September 2026.

The ledger that does grow

Where the public record does move is procurement. Brazilian municipal contracting portals document a steady stream of 2026 awards carrying the AI.BRAZIL brand: Pomerode/SC, R$450,900 for a cloud collaboration solution (published 13 March 2026) [14]; Dois Vizinhos/PR, R$24,490 for 350 corporate e-mail licences (published 8 May 2026) [15]; Ilhabela Prev, R$1,314 for cloud storage (published 31 July 2026) [16]; a hosting-services contract tender mirrored via Pouso Redondo's portal, with a first amendment to Contract 85/2025 published 25 August 2026 [17][18].

A registry aggregator listing PNCP contracts for CNPJ 45.908.107/0001-70 shows a larger series including São Leopoldo Contract 113 at R$974,400.00 signed 9 July 2026, with the most recent row an Ilhabela contract signed 11 August 2026 at R$1,313.67 [11]. The clearest earlier trace is a Milagres/CE contract of 5 August 2025 worth R$6,000 to host an e-SUS health-system server in the cloud [19].

Two caveats bound this ledger. First, the mirrored notices do not disambiguate which of the two CNPJs signed each contract, so the ledger establishes commercial activity under the brand without establishing that the brand entity holds its own network. Second, the third-party aggregator values are approximate and dates differ slightly between mirrors; they are treated here as indicative order-of-magnitude evidence, not audited figures.

The company's own claims

The company website states "Servidores 100% no Brasil" (servers 100% in Brazil) and more than 10 years of experience [12]. The 10-year claim conflicts with the 2022 founding date of the CNPJ carrying the brand, though it could in principle refer to the personal history of its administrators or to the older GMAES entity; the site itself does not say. Nothing on the captured pages documents server capacity, facility location, GPU inventory or named infrastructure partners.

What this article cannot establish

Judicial records associated with GMAES TELECOM appear in court-database listings, but the captured snapshots are search excerpts only and no merits decision could be resolved from them [20][21]. CNPJ mirror data also carries differing update vintages — one shows Receita Federal data as of 13 December 2025 [9], another as of 10 April 2026 [8] — so absence of a status change in a mirror cannot prove the registry has not moved. These are evidence boundaries, not findings.
