- A number of Telegram accounts operated by Ukrainian authorities have been blocked, Ukraine’s General Intelligence Agency (GUR) under the Ministry of Defense said on the April 29, and it has been recovered again on the April 30.
- The Ukrainian government said the Telegram manager had unfairly blocked numerous official bots against Russian military attacks, including major intelligence agency bots.
The blocked bots were accounts of military, government ministries and civilian volunteer groups that exchanged various information, including Russian military movements with residents of occupied territories in Ukraine.
Block the chatbot
Telegram’s chatbot refers to an account powered by software such as artificial intelligence, not humans, on social media. It can also perform certain tasks such as information guidance and imitate human-to-human conversations or collect content.

Function of chatbot

Ukraine shared military information and announced on the 29 that chatbot accounts against the Russian military had been blocked, which is an unjust act.

Also chatbots could help coordinate resources and aid efforts by connecting individuals or organizations offering help with those in need, facilitating the distribution of supplies, or organizing volunteer efforts.
