Summary
- TTGI says Insentra's IGEL-related pipeline has risen about 50% year on year, with 45 certified resellers in Australia and New Zealand.
- These are channel indicators, not booked revenue. New recovery features make ongoing endpoint preparation a concrete service opportunity, with important limits.
A larger sales pipeline gives a technology distributor something to pursue. It does not tell the distributor how much work will be needed to make those prospects profitable customers.
In its 10 September update, Turnium Technology Group, which uses the TTGI brand, reported approximately 50% year-on-year growth in Insentra's IGEL-related pipeline. Its subsidiary now supports 45 certified IGEL resellers in Australia and New Zealand, compared with 33 about a year earlier. Twelve have been added during 2026.
The company did not provide an absolute pipeline size, its measurement basis or a conversion rate. The percentage cannot therefore be treated as growth in orders, customers or recognised revenue. Nor does certification establish how much business each reseller produces.
What can be sold after the licence
Insentra's opportunity extends beyond distribution. TTGI lists assessment, migration, deployment, Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix integration, support and partner enablement. Some work can produce project fees; maintaining customers' workspaces can support continuing service relationships. Neither is quantified in this announcement.
This is an expansion of an established channel. Insentra's account of the partnership dates its appointment as IGEL's master distributor for the two countries to February 2020, already combining pre-sales, professional and managed services.
A newer product capability helps explain why those services matter. IGEL's 18 August release notes describe Emergency Mode in IGEL OS Dual Boot 2.0.1. Administrators can move prepared endpoints from Windows into IGEL OS and subsequently control their return to Windows. This creates an alternative working environment while an incident is addressed; it does not itself prove that an affected Windows installation has been repaired.
The prerequisites are material. The notes specify Windows 11 with UEFI boot, compatible IGEL software, a management environment and an agent. They also identify permissions and management connectivity. This is not a universal rescue command for an arbitrary laptop discovered after an outage. Configuration, compatibility and management access have to exist beforehand.
Even a successful operating-system transition is narrower than a restored working session. Access to applications, identity services and the required network may still need verification. That is an implementation inference, not an undisclosed performance failure at an Insentra customer.
Recurring billing meets recurring work
IGEL's MSP programme provides a commercial framework: training, automated licence distribution, usage reporting and billing choices ranging from monthly usage to prepayment and consumption commitments. These are programme options, not evidence of Insentra's customer prices or chosen contract mix.
They can support a managed endpoint business, but automated licensing does not automate away support. A customer estate changes as applications, versions, devices and staff change. Maintaining a usable fallback environment is consequently different from completing an initial installation.
The immediate news is broader channel reach and more reported interest. Whether that produces durable service income depends on converting prospects and defining what partners will maintain. A licence sold, a device configured and a customer able to resume useful work are three different commercial milestones.
