What happened: Leadership changes at Ericsson
Ericsson has announced a significant executive reshuffle, with Fredrik Jejdling, the head of networks, stepping down from his role on 15 March 2025. Jejdling, who has been with the company since 2006 and part of the executive team since 2017, will remain as an executive advisor until June 2025. His departure is part of a broader leadership reorganisation aimed at improving customer experience and operational efficiencies.
Per Narvinger, who has led Ericsson’s cloud software and services since 2022, will succeed Jejdling as executive vice president and head of networks. Narvinger, a 1997 Ericsson alumnus, brings extensive experience in driving digital transformation and cloud services. Meanwhile, Jenny Lindqvist, who currently leads Ericsson’s Europe and Latin America business, will replace Narvinger in his current role. Lindqvist joined Ericsson in 2010 and became part of the executive team in 2023.
