This strategic expansion further strengthens Neways’ global footprint, allowing Neways to service its customers across all geographies with design, prototyping, production, and repair services, the company said in a statement. Neways, which was de-listed in 2021 after being taken over by investment firm Infestos for 177 million euros (USD$191 million), makes electrical control units, power controls and wiring systems for ASML’s lithography products. The new facility will be based in Klang, Selangor, and is expected to initiate production in the fourth quarter of 2024.
