Apple faced significant disruptions as several of its services encountered outages, impacting users in the United States, Britain, India, China, and Australia, without further explaination.
Scope of outage across various platforms
Apple reported problems with several of its services, such as the Apple Store, Apple TV+, Apple Music, Apple Fitness+, Arcade, audiobooks, books, and podcasts, impacting users across regions, including the United States, Britain, India, China, and Australia. The outages began around 2213 GMT on Wednesday and lasted for more than an hour.

According to Apple’s system status pages, the problems were resolved after causing disruptions for users across multiple regions. Apple’s status pages, which showed that Apple TV+ and Apple Music had over 1,000 reports at the peak of the outage in the United States.
Downdetector tracked the outages and reported over 6,400 users flagged issues while using the App Store. Despite the widespread disruptions, Apple did not provide any official comment on the cause of the outages.
