Context
The Asia Pacific Domain Name System (APAC DNS) Forum 2025 is set to take place from 8 to 9 May 2025 at the InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72 in Hanoi, Vietnam. Organised by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) in collaboration with the Vietnam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC) , the event aims to bring together DNS industry practitioners and experts from the APAC region. The forum will address essential topics, facilitate networking, and promote the sharing of best practices. The theme for this year’s forum is “An Inclusive Internet: Connecting People, Empowering Our Future.” The event will feature various sessions, including discussions on the New gTLD Program’s next round, Universal Acceptance, and the evolving Internet regulatory landscape in the APAC region. Additionally, the forum will host sub-events in collaboration with regional partners, such as the “GoCreate! Domain Innovations” sessions. The event will be held as a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend either in-person or virtually.
