Sue for trademark infringement
Tesla has initiated legal proceedings against the Indian battery manufacturer known as “Tesla Power” for infringing upon its trademark. Despite having been served with a cease and desist order in April 2022, the Indian firm persisted in marketing its products under the “Tesla Power” brand. In response, Tesla is now seeking judicial intervention from a New Delhi court to obtain compensation for damages and to secure a permanent injunction that would prohibit the Indian company from using the “Tesla Power” trademark in any capacity.

Musk Shifts Travel Plans to China
Additionally, Musk canceled his planned trip to India, opting instead to visit China to promote the development of its advanced driver-assistance package. The case is scheduled for a court hearing on May 22.
