Samsung is gearing up to revolutionise its digital assistant, Bixby, by integrating generative AI capabilities.

In an interview with CNBC, Won-joon Choi, Samsung’s executive vice president of mobile business, disclosed that the company is actively engaged in integrating advanced features into Bixby.
The upgrade aims to redefine Bixby’s role, enabling more natural conversations and enhancing its interface across Samsung’s product ecosystem, including smartphones, smartwatches, TVs, and home appliances.
Samsung’s push towards advanced AI features
Samsung introduces Galaxy AI, a suite of generative AI-powered features for Galaxy smartphones, which include Circle to Search, Live Translate, chat assist, Generative Edit, and more, starting with the Galaxy S24 series.
