Summary

  • LACNIC's 3 November transfer file records one 29 October transfer of 190.12.152.0–190.12.155.255, a /22 containing 1,024 IPv4 addresses, from CDL COMUNICACAO E TECNOLOGIA LTDA to FIBER BOX TELECOM LTDA.
  • RIPE RIS snapshots show the two /23 halves changing origin in sequence. At 31 October 00:00 UTC, the upper half was on AS272727 at 320/323 peers; the lower half remained on AS271280 at 41/323. Both were on AS272727 at 321/323 by 08:00.

The transfer file has one row. The routing table tells a two-act story. LACNIC's row covers 190.12.152.0/22 in one clean interval. Its exact holder object now names FIBER BOX TELECOM, and AS272727's object names the same company. But the /22 is an administrative package, not the route seen by RIPE's observers.

At 30 October 16:00 UTC, the lower 190.12.152.0/23 appeared at 322 of 323 RIS IPv4 peers under AS271280. The upper 190.12.154.0/23 stood at 321 of 323 under the same origin. Eight hours later, the upper half showed AS272727 at 320 of 323. The lower half still showed AS271280, but only 41 peers saw it. By 08:00, both halves showed AS272727 and each reached 321 peers. RIS samples three times daily; it does not give the minute of the change.

The 3 November /22 lookup reports zero peers seeing the exact aggregate route. The lower and upper /23s each appear at 321 of 323 under AS272727. A transfer auditor searching only for the registered /22 would mistake a routing choice for an absence of service. The record of custody is one line; the operational handover has two moving parts. Further RIS records: 190.12.154.0/23 2026-10-31 08:00:00; sampling schedule.
