About Colman Deegan

Colman Deegan most recently held the position of CEO at Vodafone Spain.

After departing the company in July 2023, he spent nine months working as an M&A advisor for digital infrastructure before starting his new position with Zayo.

Under Deegan’s leadership, one of the telecom industry’s most intensely competitive markets saw a successful operational turnaround. Colman started his career at Vodafone in Corporate Treasury, moved into Mergers and Acquisitions, and eventually held the position of Group M&A Director. Later, he assumed the position of Chief Financial Officer for Vodafone’s operations in Italy and India, two sizable divisions within the company. Colman joined Vodafone Turkey in 2016 and became its CEO.

Deegan said, “I’m thrilled to be leading this elite team at Zayo Europe.” He introduced Zayo as a prominent participant in the European market, offering superior connectivity via its state-of-the-art fibre network. With Zayo’s most recent investments in Europe and the substantial growth prospects that lie ahead, it’s an exciting time for the digital infrastructure sector.
