IQ Fiber, a Jacksonville, Florida‑based fibre broadband provider, has appointed Doug Guthrie as its first Chief Operating Officer (COO), a role created to help drive the company’s network growth and operational expansion. Guthrie, who reports directly to CEO Ted Schremp, brings close to 40 years of experience in the telecommunications sector. Ted Schremp said that Guthrie’s appointment strengthens the leadership team as IQ Fiber continues to build out its fibre network across the Southwest and Mid‑Atlantic regions of the United States.
