SCPT: Joins OSIANE to promote digital transformation

Société Congolaise des Postes et Télécommunications (SCPT), a major actor in the DRC’s telecommunications sector, participated in the 9th edition of the OSIANE tech summit, held from 13 to 16 May 2025 in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo. OSIANE, the Central Africa Innovation Hub, gathered political leaders, tech firms, regional institutions and startups under the theme “transformation and opportunity.”

SCPT’s presence marked a significant step in the DRC’s digital diplomacy, spotlighting national initiatives and technological talent during a special “RDC Day” at the event. This segment focused on showcasing projects and innovations led by Congolese institutions.

Organised under the high patronage of the Republic of the Congo’s Prime Minister, OSIANE 2025 provided a platform for regional dialogue on digital challenges, opportunities, and policy evolution in Central Africa.

SCPT: Advances national cooperation with ARPTC and ADN

This joint approach highlights how SCPT positions itself not just as a traditional postal operator but also as a strategic enabler of telecom infrastructure, fibre-optic connectivity, and financial technology solutions. By contributing to regional summits such as OSIANE, SCPT builds new bridges across the Central African tech landscape, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and inclusive development.

SCPT’s appearance comes amid internal reforms and service diversification, including express courier services, fibre internet, and digital payment systems—all key components in modernising the DRC’s digital infrastructure.
