Quectel Wireless Solutions, a global IoT solutions provider, has made further additions to its comprehensive range of antennas for IoT devices and deployments.

New 5G antenna offerings

Quectel Wireless Solutions has recently unveiled an array of advanced antenna products, including the YEMN016AA and YEMN017AA 5G 5-in-1 combination antennas, the YECN001J1A and YECT000WBA external 5G antennas, and the YEGB000Q1A and YEGN000Q1A active GNSS L1 and L5 antennas. These latest additions to their product line are designed to cater to the evolving needs of the Internet of Things (IoT) market, offering enhanced performance and versatility.

The YEMN016AA is an ultra-wide-band 5G/4G antenna with integrated global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), boasting dimensions of 204.4mm x 86.7mm x 32mm. This 5-in-1 antenna offers extensive coverage from 600–6,000MHz and ensures backward compatibility with 3G and 2G networks, as well as LTE Cat-M and narrowband IoT (NB-IoT). The antenna is accessible with a choice of five cable lengths, ranging from 300–5,000 mm, all equipped with SMA connectors. Tailored for applications where discretion is paramount, this low-profile, screw-mounted omnidirectional antenna is straightforward to install and features an IP69K PC KIBILAC® ASA enclosure for maximum durability. It is also compatible with Quectel’s RM520x Series modules.

The YEMN017AA is another innovative 5G screw mount 5-in-1 antenna, designed for optimal integration with 5G and 4G networks. Measuring 103.5mm in diameter and standing at 42.5mm in height, this antenna is capable of accommodating a range of antenna types, including 5G, 4G, GNSS, and Wi-Fi. With a variety of mounting options such as screw, pole, wall, magnetic, and adhesive, the antenna box is compatible with multiple connector types and cable lengths. This design ensures a more adaptable and dependable high-performance antenna suited for outdoor applications.

In addition to the aforementioned 5G antennas, Quectel has also introduced the YECN001J1A and YECT000WBA external 5G antennas. These antennas are designed to cover the 5G NR Sub-6 GHz frequency bands and maintain compatibility with 4G, 3G, 2G, and LPWA bands. With their high efficiency and gain, they provide an ideal solution for omni-directional antenna applications, ensuring high-speed data transmission. Suitable for a wide array of wireless communication devices, including routers, outdoor equipment, and real-time monitoring devices, these antennas measure 40.6mm in diameter and 104mm in height. Both antennas adhere to RoHS and REACH standards, and Quectel offers customizable installation options with varying cable lengths and connectors.

Enhanced GNSS capabilities

For users seeking to enhance their GNSS capabilities, Quectel presents the YEGB000Q1A and YEGN000Q1A active GNSS L1 and L5 antennas. Operating within the 1164-1189MHz and 1559-1606MHz frequency bands, these compact antennas measure 62mm x 56mm x 23mm. They support a range of installation and connection methods, including screw mount, adhesive mount, magnetic mount, internal cable, and external SMA. Quectel also provides the option for customized connector types and cable lengths to meet specific requirements.
