Summary
- NovaCloud-Hosting's homepage structured data lists seven service categories with offers marked InStock (XEON Nova at EUR 3.50/month, Plesk Webspace Solar at EUR 2.00/month) pointing at shop.novacloud-hosting.com, while the Trustpilot page for novacloud-hosting.com states reviews are no longer possible because the company's website has closed https://novacloud-hosting.com/ https://www.trustpilot.com/review/novacloud-hosting.com.
- The operator runs two separate Instatus status properties for the same brand: novacloud-hosting.instatus.com shows "Experiencing partial outage" with an open "Potential Disruption Affecting FFM2" banner, while novacloud.instatus.com shows "All systems operational" with 100.0% uptime on several components and 99.85% for FFM2 IP-Transit https://novacloud-hosting.instatus.com/ https://novacloud.instatus.com/.
- The operator's own ASN microsite names three active upstreams — AS62403 PletX GmbH, AS49581 Ferdinand Zink and AS48314 IP-Projects GmbH & Co. KG — a list that matches neither the July 2026 incident's transit set nor third-party routing observations https://as209874.net/.
- The imprint states one legal entity, Tech Tide Portugal Unipessoal LDA (Faro register 517354420, VAT PT517354420), with an eleven-domain scope including novacloud-hosting.com, as209874.net, freeminehost.com and glowberry.gg https://novacloud-hosting.com/imprint.
A storefront that says open, a review page that says closed
The most direct contradiction sits between two of the operator's own representations. The homepage's embedded schema.org data presents a live, priced catalog: seven service categories — KVM VPS, game servers, web hosting, GPU servers, dedicated servers, storage and network services — with offers marked InStock and links into shop.novacloud-hosting.com https://novacloud-hosting.com/ https://shop.novacloud-hosting.com/?language=english. The Trustpilot page for the same domain, however, tells reviewers the company's website has closed https://www.trustpilot.com/review/novacloud-hosting.com. One of these is the operator's own self-description; the other is a platform's current statement about that operator. Both cannot be true at once.
A community transfer listing on LowEndTalk adds a third data point: a NovaCloud service with a Next Due Date of 29 October 2026 at EUR 20/year, in tension with the closure claim — though anonymous forum testimony is not documentary evidence https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/212522/rare-amd-chickens-from-prohosting24-computebox-hosthatch-novacloud-for-transfer. Another thread reports VPS nodes under maintenance with users unable to see the current node in the UI https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/219410/novacloud-hosting-seems-to-have-died.
Two status pages, one infrastructure, two stories
The operator's own monitoring is itself split. novacloud-hosting.instatus.com shows "Experiencing partial outage" and keeps a "Potential Disruption Affecting FFM2" banner live, with IP-Transit FFM2 marked operational while Standard VPS DE, Dedicated Servers FFM2 and Colocation Services FFM2 show major outage — alongside a line saying no notices were reported in the past seven days https://novacloud-hosting.instatus.com/. The sibling property novacloud.instatus.com reports "All systems operational," listing components including EYG1, NBG1 and the FFM2 data center (NTT-FRA1), with 100.0% uptime on several and 99.85% for FFM2 IP-Transit https://novacloud.instatus.com/.
The incident records behind those pages are equally fragmented. One incident dates the FFM2 disruption from 17 July 2026 3:27 AM UTC; the other logs the FFM2 outage as starting 20 July 2026 8:05 AM UTC and ending 8 August 2026 2:00 PM UTC — 19 days, marked Resolved, with the root cause given as "false filtering of PletX, which dropped TCP connections" https://novacloud.instatus.com/cmrsxwgnz06wh1ao0b04o4obb https://novacloud-hosting.instatus.com/cmrsxwgnz06wh1ao0b04o4obb. An earlier incident on the Eygelshoven node, XEON03-VHOST-EYG1, ran about 12 hours on 28 June 2026, ended with a replaced motherboard and 3 days of automatic compensation https://novacloud.instatus.com/cmqy7j2gb00972oo8qwgbeelr https://novacloud-hosting.instatus.com/history/1.
The upstream list that matches nothing
The operator's ASN microsite, as209874.net, names three active upstreams — AS62403 PletX GmbH, AS49581 Ferdinand Zink and AS48314 IP-Projects GmbH & Co. KG — and lists two datacenters, Frankfurt (NTT FRA1) and Eygelshoven (SkyLink) https://as209874.net/. That list matches neither the transit set named in the operator's own July 2026 incident narrative (AS203446, AS215787 and PletX) nor third-party routing observations reported in prior BTW coverage. The same microsite omits the Nuremberg location that the operator's About page claims as part of a three-site footprint with "direct control of routing, peering and inter-location connectivity" https://novacloud-hosting.com/about.
One legal entity, eleven domains
The imprint is the operator's most specific identity surface: Tech Tide Portugal Unipessoal LDA, Rua Daniel Guerreiro Joao 4 4AB, 8125-598 Quarteira, Portugal, Faro register 517354420, VAT PT517354420 — with an eleven-domain notice scope spanning several brands https://novacloud-hosting.com/imprint. One unified commercial identity sits against a registry layer prior BTW reporting already showed to be split across two RIPE organisation handles and three maintainers.
What this means and what remains unverified
For a customer deciding whether the service is actually operating, the operator's own surfaces give no coherent answer. The storefront says open, the review platform says closed, one status page says partial outage and the other says all clear. All surfaces in this briefing were read as search-index excerpts; no live checkout, DNS or HTTP-status test was performed, and most excerpts carry no snapshot timestamp. Trustpilot's closed-status date is unknown. The operator's two status pages are operator-authored and self-contradictory.
The picture as of early October 2026 is not that the operator has collapsed or recovered — it is that its own public record does not agree with itself.
