Nokia has launched Broadband Easy, a digital platform built to modernise and accelerate fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network rollouts. It aims to address high costs and logistical challenges, especially in rural and underserved regions, by combining automation and AI to reduce operational delays and improve network quality.

McKinsey reports that digitising fibre rollouts can cut costs by 10–25%. Nokia’s platform taps into this potential by offering end-to-end visibility, AI-powered design, and streamlined field operation management. These capabilities reduce deployment time by 20% and limit manual errors through real-time data verification.

Broadband Easy integrates with Nokia Altiplano Access Controller and Design Center, letting operators manage certification, subcontractors, and installations from a central interface. It also supports multiple vendors and subcontractors, enhancing its global usability.

Sandy Motley, President of Fixed Networks at Nokia, stated: “With Broadband Easy, we’re making fibre deployment easier, faster, and more cost-effective. Our approach combines automation, insights, and deployment expertise to bring broadband to more communities, faster.”
