Microsoft said on 31 August that its Saudi Arabia East datacentre region will become available to customers in November 2026. Located in the Eastern Province, the region will comprise three Azure Availability Zones and will allow government and private-sector customers to run supported Microsoft cloud and AI services while hosting eligible workloads and data locally in Saudi Arabia.
