With over 25 years in the semiconductor industry, O’Buckley, previously a senior vice president at Marvell Technology’s custom chip unit and holding leadership roles at companies like GlobalFoundries and IBM, signifies Intel’s commitment to further consolidate and expand its market share in foundry services. O’Buckley’s entry is expected to accelerate Intel’s competitiveness in the global semiconductor manufacturing market.
