What happened

HP shows its total commitment to AI technology, advancing AI through a range of software and hardware products. One of the highlights of the event is the HP OmniBook Ultra 14, which features an AMD Ryzen AI 300 SoC and 55 TOPS NPU, outperforming Apple’s M4 chip. In addition, HP showcases software and tools that utilise built-in AI, such as an improved version of Zoom, which optimises image quality and eliminates the problem of disappearing items through AI, as well as editing programs such as Djay Pro and Blackmagic Design, which provide in-depth music and video editing tools suitable for beginners. 

The event forecasts the potential of AI to improve accessibility, showcasing two accessibility-based AI programs. cephable is similar to Google’s Help Me Hands-Free tool, which provides alternative navigation methods through facial tracking, head tracking, and speech recognition for voice input. Another tool in development, OmniBridge, which translates sign language into spoken and text in real time, currently recognises 5,000 gestures and plans to eventually learn 10,000 gestures or reach full fluency. These tools demonstrate how AI can help solve real-world problems, especially for user groups that require specialised support.
