Summary
- RIPE 93 lists 14 August 2026 as the deadline for plenary presentation proposals.
- The official call says late plenary proposals depend on remaining slots, while lightning talk submissions are still accepted.
RIPE 93 has reached the date the RIPE Programme Committee set for plenary presentation proposals. The meeting’s official call is more precise than a generic invitation: it seeks material for plenary sessions, lightning talks and BoFs, and also accepts Working Group content through the same system.
The source leaves two routes open without promising an outcome. A plenary proposal submitted after 14 August will be considered only if time slots remain. Lightning talk submissions are still being accepted. Every proposal needs draft slides; the published session frames are 20–25 minutes plus discussion for plenary talks, ten minutes in total for lightning talks, and one hour for a BoF.
The deadline is a programme-control milestone, not a published programme or a count of submissions. The page gives no number of remaining slots, no list of accepted speakers and no selection decision. It does, however, state the editorial preference: non-commercial operational experience, research results and case studies are favoured over product marketing.
