Tech companies like Google and Amazon are ramping up their investments in data center infrastructure. Google has unveiled plans to invest $3 billion in establishing a new data center campus in Indiana and expanding its existing facilities in Virginia.
Expanding data center footprint
Google’s $3 billion investment is strategically distributed between two key locations, reflecting the company’s commitment to bolstering its data center footprint.
Google is allocating a substantial portion of its investment, totaling $2 billion, to establish a state-of-the-art data center campus in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Additionally, Google plans to invest $1 billion to expand three existing data center campuses in Virginia.
