Summary

  • Google ended new Gemini Code Assist Standard and Enterprise sales on 9 October 2026. Annual subscriptions can renew through 31 January 2027; monthly subscriptions through 31 December.
  • Google points buyers to Antigravity in Gemini Enterprise. Standard includes $10 per licensed user per month for AI developer tools, Plus $15, with the credit shared across developers every seven days.

Annual buyers hit the renewal wall first

A team on an annual Code Assist plan has until 31 January 2027 for its last renewal; a monthly buyer has until 31 December. That eleven-month gap gives procurement two separate clocks. Existing subscriptions stay supported through each contract end, so the renewal cutoff and the service-expiry date belong in different columns of the buying plan.

Google ended new subscriptions on 9 October. New Gemini Enterprise Standard and Plus plans no longer carry a Code Assist entitlement. Existing Gemini Enterprise customers retain it through 31 March 2027, and customers can add seats to an existing Code Assist plan only through 31 January. The sales stop, seat-addition cutoff and final renewal dates each close a different door.

The next bill sits in one pool

Antigravity moves developer-tool budgets into a shared weekly credit. Google calculates each edition’s quota by dividing the monthly per-seat amount by four and multiplying it by licensed seats in a project and location. Any user in that edition can draw from the pool; unused quota expires at the week’s end.

Standard carries $10 per licensed user per month and Plus $15. If the shared quota runs out, use continues at pay-as-you-go rates when an administrator has enabled over-quota billing. Otherwise, developer-tool use stops until the quota resets. Google requires an invoiced Cloud Billing account for these credits. The billing administrator now controls whether a full pool becomes a bill or an interruption.

The old rate card still matters

Google lists Code Assist Standard at $0.031232877 per licence-hour with a monthly commitment or $0.026027397 with a 12-month commitment. Enterprise is $0.073972603 or $0.061643836 on the same terms. Subscriptions are billed monthly. Enterprise adds private-code customization and Google Cloud integrations such as Apigee and Application Integration.

Google’s published documents contain no conversion from a Code Assist seat or hourly rate to Antigravity usage. A migration budget needs actual developer-tool consumption, the shared weekly allowance and the overage setting.
