What happened: Emitel signs long-term agreement with Orange Polska to expand mobile network

Emitel, the Polish tower operator owned by Cordiant Digital Infrastructure, has signed a long-term build-to-suit (BTS) contract with Orange Polska. Under the agreement, Emitel will build hundreds of new mobile towers across Poland, with Orange as the anchor tenant. Emitel will also be able to lease space on these towers to other mobile operators, improving the commercial value of each site.

As of December 2024, Emitel operated 762 towers and worked with all four major mobile operators in the country. Since being acquired by Cordiant in 2022, Emitel has grown its tower portfolio by 27%, with a 37% increase in related revenue.
