The newly unified division merges the German wholesale arm of Telekom Deutschland GmbH with Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier, its international counterpart, to create a streamlined organisation aimed at delivering integrated telecommunications solutions for over 1,000 customers worldwide.

According to Managing Director Dr Kerstin Baumgart, the move will generate operational synergies that enhance the company’s ability to address both domestic and international market demands. “We offer a portfolio from a single source, both in Germany and internationally, creating a seamless customer experience,” Baumgart said. The integration equips T Wholesale to offer combined local expertise and global reach, particularly in areas such as cross-border connectivity, regulatory navigation and multinational infrastructure support.

With a customer base comprising more than 250 German telecom providers and resellers, and over 900 international partners, Deutsche Telekom’s wholesale units have long been central to expanding digital networks. The combined T Wholesale portfolio includes IPX and fibre optic networks, Ethernet and MPLS connectivity, data centre services, in-flight broadband, and high-security solutions. Looking ahead, the division will also prioritise innovations in areas such as Network APIs, 5G Standalone, edge cloud, artificial intelligence and strategic partnerships to drive future growth.
