Societe Internationale de Telecommunications Aeronautique (SITA INC USA)

SITA is a risk and accountability case because its 2021 Passenger Service System data-security incident showed how a supplier behind visible airline brands can become the practical custodian of passenger and frequent-flyer evidence. The public record matters for passengers, loyalty-program members, airlines, alliances, regulators, and customer-service teams who needed proof that airline-tenant data was scoped, contained, notified, and repaired without turning one aviation IT provider into a shared blind spot.
