His contact entry, ME2299-RIPE, supplies a named administrative reference for that network's registration. The record identifies an individual contact; it does not specify a current job title or establish that he owns the network.

Information type
A network's registration includes people as well as number resources. For a reader checking AS25268, Michael Eisenkoelbl's listed role helps distinguish the named contact from the network itself. Changes to that designation are worth checking against dated RIPE records, rather than assuming an old contact entry identifies whoever operates the network today.
