A single Community Priority Evaluation report did not award a registry or place `.HOTEL` in the DNS root. It did something narrower and, for six competitors, immediately decisive: it supplied the score that activated ICANN’s pre-adopted rule for ending their applications’ route through the contention set.

The story of Fegistry, LLC's.feedback domain is not a story of mass domain boom. It is a narrower question of registry economics: can a specialised namespace built around customer feedback generate enough recurring renewal revenue, registrar attention and brand protection demand to cover the fixed costs of DNS, ICANN compliance, abuse processing and registry services?
