A .music address looks like a simple branding choice for an artist, label, publisher or rights holder. The economics are less simple: the buyer is deciding whether a verified music-domain identity can do work that cheaper social handles, streaming profiles, link-in-bio pages and ordinary domains already do at internet scale.
