Context

APNIC actively engaged in the China Internet Infrastructure Resources Conference (CNIRC) 2024, which took place in Beijing from November 30 to December 1. Organised by the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) , the conference attracted around 400 participants and focused on pivotal topics such as IPv6 deployment, artificial intelligence (AI), and satellite Internet. APNIC representative Jia Rong Low delivered a keynote address, recognising China as a significant Internet power and applauding its notable achievements in advancing IPv6 deployment. This acknowledgment not only highlighted the country’s technical strides but also underscored the global importance of collaboration in building resilient and scalable Internet infrastructure.
