Why Martin?
Martin Lund, who has extensive experience at companies like Microsoft and Broadcom, will serve as an executive vice president at Cisco to lead its Common Hardware Group and report directly to CEO Chuck Robbins.
Tracing back to his previous careers, Martin has managed to acquire Dune Network and performed as corporate vice president of Microsoft’s Azure, also a CEO of Metaswitch Networks and played a significant role in growing Broadcom’s business to above $1 billion.

The Common Hardware Group focuses on delivering silicon, optics, and hardware platforms for Cisco’s networking products, and Lund’s appointment reflects Cisco’s commitment to innovation and growth in this area.
As for Eyal Dagan, who has also worked with Broadcom before and was the founder of Dune Network, he served as the previous leader for the Common Hardware Group at Cisco. Now with Martin on board, Dagan will continue to contribute his technical expertise to critical projects within Cisco, in an effort to ensure Cisco’s strong innovation and leadership in the tech world.
